ABOUT TEXAS RED AND BIG IRON!

Meet our adorable calico sisters, Texas Red and Big Iron! These sweet girls were left on our HAP Stanton property, so we don't know much about their past. But we do know that these girls are big loves!

Both girls are super affectionate and very sweet, who love to hang out with their people friends! Texas Red is a little on the quieter side, preferring to allow her sister to take the lead in their adventures.
Big Iron is a very adventurous woman, who loves to know what is happening at any given moment! She loves to look out a window and let the whole world know her opinions!

*Texas Red and Big Iron haven't been too interested in other cats, but we think they'd do well with a calm dog and children.

**If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Our adoption process is designed to help you and your family find the perfect match in a pet. When the right match is made, we strive to conduct our adoptions thoughtfully, transparently, and with the utmost respect. You can view and submit an adoption questionnaire online ahead of your visit by going to our website: humaneanimalpartners.org. A questionnaire is not required to come visit us, but we will have you fill one out if interested in meeting with our animals. We strive to make the best match possible for you and for the animals. Most of our pets can go home same-day and come vaccinated, spay/neutered, and microchipped.

We are located in Newark (Christiana), Delaware. Come visit us at 455 Stanton-Christiana Road, Newark (Route 7 behind Royal Farms and Border Cafe)! We're open 6 days a week: Tuesday 12-7, Wednesday thru Sunday 12-5. We are closed on Mondays.
