Hi everyone, I am a pretty Tibetan Spaniel mix named Lady. I am about 5 years old, weigh 18 lbs, and I’m looking for a better life. I was adopted as a puppy in San Antonio, well cared for, and loved, but 2 years ago my owner left town and left me with Grandpa where I was only allowed to live outdoors. I’m not cut out to be an outdoor dog but I made the best of my situation in the brutal Texas weather. Now that Grandpa can no longer care for me, I have been taken in by 4 Little Paws Rescue, and THANK GOODNESS! I was covered in fleas, filthy dirty, lonely, and bored, and thrilled beyond belief when my foster mom picked me up, bathed me, let me live indoors, and now takes me to work with her! I’m in heaven, but only one thing could make this even better… to be adopted and become someone’s cherished forever dog!
I am a sweet girl, friendly and happy with my tail wagging and an underbite smile on my pretty face. I love everyone right from the get-go and I get along great with other dogs although they are not really my focus and I’m not the playful/playmate type. I’m a people dog through and through, affectionate, and snuggly, and I can’t think of anything better than being with you all the time! I’m well-behaved and housebroken. I rarely bark and I don't chew on the furniture, or dig in the yard. I love going for walks and rides in the car, sitting nicely in the back seat. I like doggy treats, cozy dog beds, and little kisses on my nose. I sleep in my dog bed in my foster mom's bedroom and during work days I get to tag along to my foster mom’s shop where I’m very calm and content just watching the customers. I guess you could say I’m a shop dog, LOL! I hear the Eastern Seaboard is the place to be, so inquire about me today and bring me home!
* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
