Adorable puppy! Tannah has one of those tail wags and smiles that will bring anyone joy! She is a youngster ready for a frisky life and family. We have no idea how such an amazing dog could end up as a stray. When she arrived, she was so HAPPY! She is super friendly and fun. Tannah would love to be adopted by folks that want to teach her all those good things pups need to know. She would like to refine her leash walking skills. She would also love to burn off that goofy puppy energy. Come on down to HRA soon and meet this cutie pie- she is wonderful!

We're dedicated to finding loving homes for all the pets in our care. All you need is love-- and a state issued ID.

WE HAVE 2 ADOPTION CENTERS TO SERVE YOU:
71 OGLETHORPE ST. NW
1201 NEW YORK AVE. NE

Our doors are open from 12 PM to 7 PM every day, offering you ample time to visit and meet your potential new companion. Please arrive no later than 6:30 PM to ensure you have plenty of time to interact with our adorable pups.

Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Be sure to bring a leash for your new dog or a carrier for your new cat or small animal. Most animals are ready to go home with you right after you meet them!

Can't make it in person? No problem! We offer virtual adoptions for animals in foster homes. From the comfort of your own home, you can browse our pets online, set up virtual meet and greets, and even conduct adoption counseling sessions.
