For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Hey there! I'm Peanut, a 3-year-old, 35-pound beagle mix, bursting with joy! If you’re looking for a loyal buddy who adores belly scratches and pats, I’m your guy. My favorite toy? A stuffed squeaky bunny! I love playing "seek and find" with treats, and I’ll even perform a trick if you offer me a fry!
I thrive in homes with a spacious backyard to run around, and while I love the great outdoors during the day, my favorite nighttime spot is right at the edge of your bed. I’m also the perfect hiking buddy, and if I get tired, I’m happy to hitch a ride on your shoulders!
I get along great with cats and kids, though I’m a bit cautious with other dogs. A meet-and-greet helps me warm up to new doggy friends. Being a beagle mix, I’m a little talkative—but I promise you’ll find it adorable!
**Interested in meeting me?**
PACA is a foster-based rescue, so I don’t live in a shelter, but you can meet me at our adoption clinic, held the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 6300 San Mateo (along the grass next to Academy Rd) in the Sprouts Market parking lot, weather permitting. We can also set up a private meet-and-greet with an approved application.
Complete an easy online application at this link: https://form.jotform.com/222028369049155
The $250 adoption fee covers S/N, microchip, vaccines and heartworm/tic borne illness testing.
