My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stewie is a one-year-old 55 pound American bull terrier mix that arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 9/22 as a stray. He's got beautiful eyes, a cute face and huge floppy ears. To top that off he has a good personality. When he first got out into the yard, he ran back-and-forth investigating all the smells. He sits for treats and takes them gently. He's highly motivated by treats, and when he found out I had treats his wandering was over. He stayed very close. He does chase balls, but does not retrieve them. He's very affectionate and gives kisses. He's very happy and spirited. His tail wags constantly. He's friendly and very sweet. He's well mannered in that he does not jump on you. He walks OK on a leash. His tail was tucked when meeting other dogs. He appeared a little fearful. Although a yard for him to romp in would be nice, he wants to spend most of his time inside enjoying his new loving family. Will that be yours?
