Tommy is the funniest dude! He weighs in at abou 3-4 pounds and is all attitude! He is VERY friendly and does great with other dogs and cats. He is not afraid which can get him into trouble because he thinks nothing of getting underfoot when the big dogs play. Tommy had a rough start in rescue. He was heartworm positive and very sick. In our care for almost a year, he is heartworm free, has had a dental to remove some rotten teeth and is the picture of health! We are wondering if he is mixed with a hairless dog because Tommy has very little hair but his skin is very healthy!
Tommy does wear a belly band in the house as he will lift his leg but the belly band keeps everything clean. He uses potty pads very well for pooping so would make a great indoor only dog although he loves to go for rides and on adventures.
We believe he is between 7-9 years of age.
Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico. There is an application which is required for initial approval, with personal references, and vet references. We may require a home visit, each adoption is different. We are easy to work with, friendly and try to fit the right pet in the right situation!
