Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Calypso is beautiful dilute tortie female. She arrived at ITV with three kittens in tow. She has spent the last few months in a foster home. Her foster says Calypso is an extremely loving cat that just wants to be around her humans. If she feels she is being neglected, she is not afraid to tell you. She genuinely just wants to be loved. She loves looking out the window and laying in the sunshine. She likes sling type beds, but will settle just about anywhere. When she's not actively snuggling you, she still likes to just be around you. To adopt Calypso, apply at ITVrescue.org.

All of our cats are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered.

We require all adopters to complete an application and pay an adoption fee. Adoption fees vary, but are usually $160 to $185. We may do a vet reference check and/or home visit.

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
