HI - I'M AMBER! I'm a sweet and gentle 10-year-old Cairn Terrier mix in need of a new home. I was rescued from an overcrowded California shelter, and now am in a foster home, where I share my days with some doggy pals. I had a mass removed from my belly at the shelter -- and had a dental -- and now am as good as new! I have lots of spunk and love to give, and would love one final home for my golden years. We have an extensive application and spend time with potential applicants to make sure we match people with the right dogs. We also have a 100% return policy as we understand sometimes adoptions just do not work out.

Freedom Ride Rescue Inc. is an active 501(c)(3) animal rescue based in Ventura, Calif. We rescue dogs and cats primarily from overcrowded California shelters, and do our best to find wonderful homes for them. We also take in many owner surrenders every year. We adopt dogs to people in many states, and have a high success rate with our adoptions. We do our best to match people with the right dogs.
