We adopted Poch 7 years ago from a shelter in New York when she was a few months old.
She's beautiful & very loving, happy to spend hours curled up between our legs while we sleep or read a book, and she warms quickly to people who have spent time around cats.
We now have two daughters aged 2 and 3. Since the arrival of our first daughter, we've noticed Poch is a lot more stressed and spends most of her time upstairs out of the way during the day. That in turn means she now spends a larger proportion of the night awake, and often wakes us/our children up by meowing/scratching at doors, looking to socialize during the night.
We've tried lots of ways to try and reduce the stress on her, but the kids are so smitten with her they can't help getting overexcited when she's downstairs with us.
We'd like to find a home without young children or dogs for Poch so she can get back the playful, relaxed life she had in the first 4 years of her life.
