Dog's Name: Mikey (MIK0924JNSMD)
Estimated Breed: Poodle MIX
Approximate Age: 2 years
Approximate Weight: 55 lbs
Currently Living at: Boarding
Adoption Fee: $400
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Mikey! He is a young, energetic boy on the hunt for his forever family. Mikey is playful and friendly, always ready to engage in a game of fetch or tug-of-war. He thrives in the company of other dogs, except maybe the bigger, more macho males. However, his playful nature extends to a fondness for chasing cats, but it's all in good fun, no harm meant. Until he gets to know you better, Mikey can be a little head shy if you reach for him too quickly. This loyal fella is looking for a loving family who can match his playful spirit and energy. If you are the active type, Mikey will make a great companion on all your adventures. So why not fill out an application today and let the journey begin!
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home. For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.org
