Dog's Name: Astrid (AST0924JNSFD)
Estimated Breed: Australian Shepherd MIX
Approximate Age: 2 years
Approximate Weight: 35 lbs
Currently Living at: Boarding
Adoption Fee: $400
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Hi, I'm Astrid! I'm a little timid at first, but I warm up quickly with kindness and patience. I'm a gentle soul, and I like to show my soft side with other dogs. I prefer the quiet ones, they make me feel at ease. And cats? I'm great with them! I may not be the life of the party, but I promise to be the heart of your home. I'm just looking for a peaceful place where I can share all the love I have to give. If you're in search of a loyal companion who will cherish your quiet moments as much as your active ones, I'm your girl. So why not fill out an application today and come out and meet me. I can't wait to find my forever home soon!
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
