Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Purrcy earned his name because he purrs from the moment he sees you! And he purrs loud. It is so funny to see this little kitty that weighs under 6 pounds with this great big purr. He was born In September of 2023 so he is going to be a little guy, but with lots of personality. He loves attention and to play with his toys. But he really, really loves canned cat food! This little fellow is quite talkative, eager for your attention. He purrs through the cuddles and rewards you with his love and attention. His big blue eyes watch you closely while he rubs along your leg begging to be picked up, or fed more canned food. Did I mention he really likes canned food?

2) Pay adoption fee (range of $75 - $175)
3) Schedule home visit
4) Place animal or refund fee.

Adopter has 30 days for 100% refund or exchange for different pet.

Go meet their pets

Located in the Mission area, Cinderella Pet Rescue, as an all-volunteer organization, schedules appointments for people to meet the animals at the shelter or in a foster home. Additionally pets are taken twice monthly to pet store for adoption events. Dates and locations are posted on our website and Facebook page.

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
