Truman has been growing up in the shelter for far too long. Remember the 11 tiny puppies that were dumped in a container at Kellogg Lake? Truman is one of the last 2 pups from that litter that is still waiting to find a home. Him and his 3 other siblings have been at the shelter for over 200 days now (8 months). Puppies should never have to grow up in a shelter… They need families to love that can show them how amazing and beautiful life can be outside these shelter walls. It's beyond heartbreaking that they have never known what it feels like to be a part of a family. All they know is the busy, loud, stressful shelter environment. They deserve so much more than this. Please don’t let him continue to grow up here. If you can provide a loving home for him or any of his other siblings, please come meet these sweet babies during our open hours (Tuesday-Saturday 12-4pm). They are such lovable, sweet and very smart boys. You can also call the shelter at 417-358-6402 if you have any questions.
