My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cinnamon is a sweet, shy, happy, funny, goofy, cuddly puppy. Her Wisdom panel showed that she is a mix of 15 different breeds. She is living with three dogs and a cat in her foster home and gets along with all of them. She has no prey drive for the chickens. and seems to want to be friends with the neighbors pigs. She is fully house broken. Since she is still a puppy, she has been crated at night and when they our out. She doesn't always want to go into the crate but she is fine once she is in. She free roams when people are home and is fine. She sits and waits for her food and snacks. She loves toys and to have a bone to chew on. She is still a puppy, so does playful puppy things. She pulled the pillows and blankets off the couch. She chewed a bit on the corner of a rug. Telling her no is enough. She understands and stops.

She can be fearful, so she needs people who are patient and kind with her. She takes time to warm up to you, but when she does, she loves to fall asleep by her person on a chair or on their lap. She should not be in a home with children. She is very fearful of them and shuts down. We tried to work on that, but don't think it is something she will get past. She would be best in a home with adults, dogs of any size and dog friendly cats.

Cinnamon is going to be someones very best friend. Apply to come and meet her at her foster home in Loveland.

Go meet their pets

Over 75% of our dogs are in foster homes along the front range. The foster will get in touch to schedule meetings for their foster dog. Meetings will happen in/near their homes since that is where the dog is the most comfortable. We do want you to bring family members (human and dog) to the meeting! Dogs who are currently at our Windsor facility will have meetings there and a volunteer will reach out to schedule those meetings with you. Please be aware that we do not place our dogs on a first come, first served basis, but rather a best-fit placement. Never fear, applications are valid for a year so if the first dog you meet isn't a good fit, we will have plenty of time to find one that is.
