Meet tiny but mighty Tessa! A very affectionate and quick to purr little love ball with loads of confidence and not shy at all. She was rescued from euthanasia as she was brought to the shelter too small to stay there overnight and would have to be put down if she wasn’t rescued within in a couple hours of her arrival and taken home to be cared for by a loving foster. Tessa displays unique kitten characteristics that are remarkably similar to a beautiful breed of kittens known as Singapuras. They are easily recognized by their large saucer shaped eyes prominently outlined in black, oversized ears and unique sepia-toned coat coloring, blunt tipped tail with unusually short fur in the rare, ticked tabby pattern. Additionally, Tessa is also petite like a Singapura as they are the smallest breed of domestic cat. Singapuras closely resemble and are thought to be related to the Abyssinian breed of cat and Tessa does display the darker toned ticked tabby coat of an Abyssinian. However, in Singapore, due to the few stripes on her legs, she would becalled a Moggie but her coat is still predominantly the very rare ticked tabby pattern. Beautiful Tessa is believed to have been born around 8/3/24 and should be ready for adoption by Thanksgiving but is available now for pre-adoption or possibly foster to adopt. If you love the exotic look and personality of the Singapura and Abyssinian but are mindful to adopt and not shop and want to save a life instead of contributing to the over population of cats and kittens, then Tessa is the kitty for you! Her adoption donation is $200 and you can set up an appointment to visit her in St Pete Florida by submitting an adoption application at CJPAWS.ORG/ADOPT
