My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looks like: Hound mix
Male, 7 years old (estimated), 52 pounds

Sweet sweet Rover has been through a lot in the past few weeks. He recently landed at a local shelter after they believe he was hit by a car. Rover was unable to stand or use his legs. Fortunately nothing was broken! But Rover did still sustain some significant injuries impeding his ability to use his back legs. This poor sweet guy has been recovering at our Monterey vet clinic and in a loving foster home and is making leaps and bounds in progress. Quite literally! He is now able to walk on his own.

Rover will need an adopter willing to continue to work on his mobility with him, including regular exercise and rest when needed. This darling boy adores people and love. He is a true gentleman who likes to gaze lovingly at his people with those big, soulfull eyes.

Rover joins Peace of Mind after he was brought into Hitchcock Road Animal Services as a stray unable to walk. We can't wait to see the progress he makes in his next home!
