Meet Gyro! Gyro is about 4 years old, currently 50 lbs, and he is a Mutt! He came from a bad situation but has been soaking up all the love and attention in his foster home. He has been doing great with house-training, crate-training and leash-walking. He could go to a home with other dogs, cats, and/or kids.
His foster says, "Gyro (pronounced) Guy-RO, is a wonderful, loving, very friendly dog. He loves people and going for walks. Gyro minds very well. We are working commands, and he understand NO, STAY, COME, and we are working on SIT. He loves giving kisses and snuggling. When going on walks, he prefers a harness and he is very well behaved. His favorite treat is large Milk bones. He is good with our cats and if he gets close for their approval, I just say NO and he backs up. Our dog Roxy does not usually like other dogs, but Roxy LOVES Gyro!! They walk and play outside together. The family/person that adopts Gyro is in for a real treat."
He is available for adoption with an approved adopter by appointment in Somerville or Hopkinton, MA. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.
