My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! I`m Soriah `Good Kitty`! I am a long haired 5 year old Siamese mix female. I was originally relinquished to MaxFund September 2024 by no fault of my own. I was adopted in October 2024, but sadly I came back a week later because my adopter passed away. I was then adopted again November 2024, but unfortunately was returned back to Maxfund January 2025. Now I am hoping to find my fur-ever home!

I am a loving companion who likes to sit on your lap and cuddle. My favorite spot is on a perch by a window, I like to watch the birds and squirrels outside. I love scratching posts, playing in cat tunnels, chasing toys, and playing with strings!

I am a good kitty and I know it, that is why I will respond to `good kitty`! I am litter box trained and I do not scratch on furniture. I also will respond when you say treats, hungry, or `where’s the hungry kitty`!

I get stressed easily and am not a fan of other pets, I must be in a home where I am the only fur baby.

If you are interested in my gorgeous coat and pretty eyes, come to the shelter to meet me!
The shelter hours are Sunday - Monday, & Wednesday - Saturday (Closed Tuesday) 9:30 - 4:30, Closed 12:00 - 1:00 for lunch.

More about this shelter

The MaxFund is a non-profit organization that was established in May of 1988 to provide medical care for injured pets with no known owners, and to seek out new homes for these animals once they have recovered. The MaxFund is a no-kill dog and cat shelter. MaxFund assists hundreds of people and animals each year by trying to make the correct match between owner and pet. MaxFund adopts our animals to Colorado residents only.

The MaxFund is a TRUE no-kill shelter. There is no pre-sorting of animals into "adoptable" and "non-adoptable" categories, discarding the so-called "unadoptable." The MaxFund takes every animal it has the space for. EVERY animal is kept until its owner is found or it is placed in a new adoptive home.
