My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zeus is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian.
Zeus is a very chill dog. He is a very calm and loving boy but we just cannot keep him. He prefers a quiet home and is very good with kids. He is house trained. Never been around cats, he’s rarely around other dogs but he is not the aggressive type when he is. Just a bit too playful/hyper but when he’s around kids he’s very gentle

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Please come in and visit with our pets available for adoption. Once you find an animal you would like to adopt, you will be asked to fill out an adoption survey and meet with an adoption counselor. We do require landlord approval and we do not adopt out animals to live completely outside. Our adoption fees are $75 for dogs and cats under 5 years old and $55 for those 5 years and older.

Go meet their pets

To visit pets please go to http://bloomington.in.gov/animal-shelter to fill out an adoption application and schedule a visit. You can find out more information about adoption events and specials at https://www.facebook.com/COBAnimalShelter.

More about this shelter

The shelter has very active volunteer and foster programs. Volunteers walk dogs and help with cat care. Fosters take young, shy and injured animals into their homes to prepare them for adoption. Learn more on our website and consider getting involved today!
