My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kingston is an adorable little nugget who is the king of playing and the king of treats! This guy is so stinkin’ adorable, with the goofiest smile and funny old man face (even though he’s only one year old)! Kingston will definitely have you laughing each day, if not with his playful antics, then definitely with his crooked smile! Here`s what one volunteer fan had to say about Kingston:

“Kingston was bouncy but easy to leash up in his kennel. Once in the play yard, he just wanted to play, play, play with his kennelmate! Of course, he would stop for treats, which were his second favorite thing. He is a high energy boy who would probably love a playmate to match his big puppy energy in a new home. He is sweet and affectionate and between racing across the play yard and rolling around with his kennelmate, he would come over next to me for pets and he allowed touch all over his body. This boy is a young pup who should not be growing up in the shelter, but in an active, loving home!”

Another volunteer shared, “Kingston is a friendly pup, who takes treats with a soft mouth and engages when I cuddle with him. He also allowed me to put a bandana on him.”

One of our volunteers, who is also a dog trainer, has been teaching Kingston commands including, “sit, come, touch, up,” and “no.” Kingston is a bright young pup who would love to continue learning new skills in a furever home!

Kingston shares his kennel with a larger dog who he plays very well with. He has very high energy when meeting other dogs in play group and would like to meet any future furry roommates to ensure a good fit before heading home. If you’re looking for an energetic, loveable pup to keep you on your toes and melt your heart, come meet Kingston today!
