My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bird (named after Larry Bird because they look so alike) is an absolutely amazing dog. He has been one of the greatest blessings in my life. He is chill, independent, cuddly, friendly, house-trained, silly, fun, and easy to please. As someone who has fostered many dogs in my life, he's the absolute easiest dog I've ever had. Anyone would be immensely lucky to have him.

Bird is good with other dogs, but doesn't mind being an only dog, either. He can have some resource guarding with other dogs around dinner time (usually manifests in a growl), and, he doesn't like babies or toddlers.

I would keep Bird for the rest of my life if I could, but a severe allergy has developed in our home and the allergist has told us there is no other option. We are absolutely heartbroken-- it is difficult to talk about. We just want him to have the best and happiest home possible.

Bird is about 60 lbs. He has the silliest shape, like a rectangular box. He is the cutest and gets lots of compliments!
