For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Hello! My name is Beacon, named after the support dog from the Women's National Gymnastics team. I do think I am quite handsome, and my foster mom does too! I have been with her from day 1. What a cutie I was then too! I have been living with my two siblings, Daylily and Edelweiss, along with the resident Golden Retriever. (She is actually afraid of us!)
I have been more of a lap kitty, however the older I get, the more energetic I have become. I often watch my two sisters wrestle and tumble over one another and just shake my head. My foster mom's lap is the choice place to be! Lately I have become a third wrestler with the two. I am a bit bigger so I usually win!
You might say I am somewhat of a cautious kitty. I oftentimes follow the girls around and let them check out what lays ahead. Sometimes I go off on my own and explore slowly, but surely. I would make the best companion for a bff kitty who can show me the ropes!
Come meet me and see what a handsome and sweet kitten I am! Oh yes! And check out that handsome goatee I am sporting!

Kittens need buddies! We require that kittens be adopted with a sibling or go to a home that already has another young companion animal. If you already have a young animal or another kitten in your home, great! If not, Beacon will need to be adopted with one of his siblings (Daylily and Edelweiss).
The adoption fee for a kitten is $250. For a pair, the adoption fee is $500.
Note: Kittens must be 10+ weeks old before they can go home.

If you’re thinking about adding a kitten or two to your family, a Bitty Kitty is a great choice! Kittens who have been bottlefed tend to be extra friendly and snuggly!
By adopting a kitten from the Bitty Kitty Brigade, you’ll be supporting our no-kill organization and making room for us to take in another orphan kitten.
All of our cats receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. Prior to adoption, all of our kittens are:
FeLV/FIV tested
spayed/neutered
treated for external and internal parasites
microchipped
FVRCP (distemper) vaccinated
Please allow 24-48 hours for a reply to an adoption inquiry.
