Meet Zara! She is a very sweet and affectionate girl. She may be shy at first, but comes around quickly. Once she gets to know you, her tail will wag and she will become your best friend. She wants someone who loves her, takes her on walks, plays with her, hangs out with her and feeds her. She’s a foodie and loves treats, oh boy treats are her favorite part of the day. She knows commands such as sit, lay down, paw, stay and crate. She is 100% potty trained so no messes while you’re away. She is definitely a cuddle bug and never to far. She loves to give kisses, lots and lots of kisses. She will lay on her back to get her belly rubbed which is her favorite. She is very quiet and has the most quiet whine when she wants your attention. From the day I seen her I knew she was the sweetest little girl but just didn’t know who to trust. She has so much love to give and I know there is somebody out there that would absolutely love for her to be apart of their family and life. The Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center (MCASAC), proudly operated by the Montgomery County Office of Animal Services, provides high-standard sheltering and care to the homeless, abused, and neglected animals in Montgomery County and ensures the safety and welfare of the county’s citizens.
The Center’s doors are open to all animals in need from: dogs and cats to farm animals, wildlife, and exotics. Trained staff provide animals with daily care, mental and physical enrichment, health and wellness checks, and more. Through adoptions, spay and neuter assistance, vaccination clinics, education and outreach, the Center serves as a critical community resource to promote and advocate for responsible pet care. With community support and partnerships with other animal-welfare groups, our Foster, Rescue and Volunteer programs enhance and save the lives of even more homeless animals.
