My name is hugo!

hi! i’m hugo. i am absolutely adored by my adoptive parents, but i can’t seem to get along with the other small residents of the home — parakeets & chickens. i just don’t like the looks of em! and it makes me agitated. then i get put in a time out pen so that i don’t scare them with my tough guy attitude.
i love everyone else i meet! but these little critters i am not a fan of. humans - young & old, dogs - bring on the friends! i am about 13 but my mom says i behave like i’m 8! i have the energy to be an enthusiastic companion for walks and then a cozy couch potato in the evenings.
i have one eye, as you can see, but it doesn’t slow me down at all. i am a healthy boy with the exception of seasonal allergies, which are managed by very low dose prednisone during flare ups…then i’m good to go. i eat like a champ, sleep like a baby and want to be the center of your world!
