Oakley was recently returned to us after being rehomed. Based on their experience with him, he is a great companion but would thrive more in a home with a single individual with no kids or other animals at their home. If you do have visitors, he would just need to be isolated from them. Once Oakley picks you as his “person”, he becomes territorial.
We have a toddler and do not feel comfortable with Oakley being around him. Our other dog and Oakley tolerate each other indoors but outdoors they have attacked one another on numerous occasions.
Other than that, he is great when getting groomed and he has received great reviews from local Doggie Day Cares. No biting or dog fighting with either. He loves playing fetch, cuddling, and running through the yard. He is also house and kennel trained.
