Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am currently in a foster home and not at HSNBA, if you are interested in meeting me, please contact the nice folks at HSNBA so they can put you in contact with my foster family to set up a meet & greet. E-mail HSNBA at adoption@hsnba.org, call us at: (830) 629-5287 or stop by and speak with the folks at HSNBA at 3353 Morningside Dr. to get your information sent over to my foster home. My foster family is the best and can give you more information on me.
Meet Oakley, an 11-year-old Chihuahua with a gentle, laid-back personality and a heart full of love. Oakley walks at a leisurely pace on a leash, making him the perfect companion for someone looking for a calm and easy-going pet. He knows his basic commands like sit, lay down, come, and stay, and he listens well when corrected.
This little guy might be house-trained, and he enjoys following his favorite people around like a loyal shadow. He appears to get along well with cats and would be a wonderful match for an older adopter seeking a gentle, reserved, and loving companion. Oakley is shy but calm and sweet, ready to find his forever home!HSNBA lists all animals online from the moment of intake, and our listings are updated automatically every midnight. Some of these animals may not be available for adoption at this moment, but you can always call the shelter at 830-629-5287 for clarification on the adoption process or the animal's current status.

Cats are $60
Dogs are $120
All adoptions are spayed/neutered, vaccinated with age appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and ticks, dewormed for common intestinal parasites, and microchipped.
Adopters must be at least 18 years old. If you don't own your residence, you must provide a copy of the lease agreement stating that you're able to own animals. We will check your animal control history and there is about 15-20 minutes worth of paperwork before you can take your animal home.
