Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FELLA is a gorgeous three year-old BOMBAY boy who has unique golden eyes. He is neutered, has all his vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped and has his claws.
Fella came to SPCR from a loving owner, who unfortunately was not able to consistently keep him on the correct food because he makes urinary crystals and had developed problems from that. He has been at SPCR a little over four months now. With consistent veterinary formula food and time, he has progressed extremely well – to the point where he is no longer making crystals and is ready for adoption! He uses his litter box like a champ!
Fella is a very sweet, playful cat who loves catnip! He is not a super snuggler, but does not mind being carried around as long as his face is forward. He is special needs because of the need to stay on veterinary food for the rest of his life, and because although he lived with another cat, it would probably be best for him to be an only boy. (The foster would consider adopters with another calm cat that also would eat the veterinary formula or would be willing to purchase chip feeders.)
Fella can be a little nervous at times and for that reason, a calm home with no young children would be the best setting for him. He loves to wrap himself in blankets like a burrito, but doesn’t mind being taken out for an extra skritch or a few kisses! (You also may find him under the covers now and then!)
He is just a gorgeous boy with the need for a couple of special accommodations, and a relatively rarely found breed in rescue, as well!
