Meet Ellis!

Ellis came to us all the way from County of Sacramento Animal Services on September 21st. She is 10 years old and weighs just under 10 lbs. Ellis was spayed while at the shelter.

The same day Ellis arrived, she was chosen for a two-week Frosed Fling, and we are thankful she can continue recovering from spay surgery in the comforts of a home. Her Fling Mom shared this update after their first day together:

"For now, Ellis's favorite thing is to be carried around in your arms and snuggled on your lap. She gets scared when she's not being carried or not with you. She has yet to make a peep, but she shakes when she's scared.

Ellis did so well on the car ride home! She was a little scared but sat on my lap like a good girl. She has also been doing super well with our other dogs! She doesn't mind if they come up to her and sniff her, but she's not a fan of them cornering her. She doesn't seem too interested in them otherwise, she's all about people!

Little Ellis is totally a shadow, from the time we got home a few hours ago she immediately started following me around anywhere I went. I can already tell she loves food, as she gobbled up her dinner in no time. She's the perfect purse doggie!"

We require that interested applicants fill out our application. A screener follows up via email to schedule a home inspection, meanwhile calling references.

Upon approval, it is required you come to Frosted Faces Foundation with all members of the family and your dogs to choose a Frosted Face.
