Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone! My name is Lily! I am about 2-3 years old, and sweet as can be!

I was found roaming for a few days and nobody could catch me. Until a nice lady lured me in with some tasty treats. She held me for a few days, and tried relentlessly to find my owner, but with no chips and no leads, an owner was never found.

We all believe I was likely dumped on a nearby back road, and left to fend for myself.

I have the biggest smile!!! Which is so fitting, because I'm the happiest girl. I love to cuddle and love to hangout.

I get along great with other dogs! I would be great with most anyone, but small kids may be tricky only because I want to play but I am a big, strong gal!

If your application is chosen and approved we will setup a meet and greet with the pet. You will hear back regardless if chosen or not.

We place the dogs in the best home not the first home. Please be patient while we go over all apps and we will be in touch.

We are foster based. You must apply on Crossyourpaws.com first. If your application is chosen as the best fit for the dog we will move forward with the approval process. Once approved you will be setup with a time to meet the dog. Our dogs are all over the greater Pittsburgh area.

Here at Cross Your Paws Rescue, we are driven by a single goal; to save lives. We are doing our part in making the world a better place for all pets. Our decision to start a rescue is not one that we have taken lightly, it has come after years of volunteer work with other groups. Our goal is to make this world a place where starving, abused animals is a thing of the past. That shelters filled with dogs and cats waiting to be euthanized is unheard of. We want euthanasia to be something to help pets on their way to the Rainbow bridge not to end lives because of overpopulation. We vow to save every life that we can.
