My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What is small, covered in freckles, and ready to steal your heat? Pinkie Pie is!

Pink, affectionately known as Pinkie Pie is a 3-month-old, 20lb female Setter mix. At least that is our best guess. For all we know, she could be a Dalmatian mix, have some Border Collie in her, or even be a mix of several breeds. While we may not know her exact ancestry, we do know that this girl has one of the best personalities around! <3

Now, Pinkie's story starts a little rougher than her current state of joy and fluff might suggest. This pint-sized charmer found herself in the shelter, unsure of what the future held. Luckily, she was rescued, and boy, did she make the most of that second chance! With a smile that could melt the iciest heart, Pink is living proof that even the toughest starts can lead to the best personalities.

Pinkie Pie is the perfect mix of playful energy and cuddly cuteness. She’s got just the right amount of puppy pep to keep up with all your daytime adventures, but don’t be surprised when she melts into your couch for some serious snuggle time afterward. Her petite size makes her a perfect travel buddy, whether it's a walk in the park or a ride around town. We’d like to tell you exactly how big she’ll get, but since a “crystal ball” wasn’t included in our rescue kit, we’re guessing she’ll land somewhere around 60 lbs. All we know is that no matter her size, she’s going to take up a huge part of your heart!

Pink’s got an ideal energy level—always up for a good time but equally down for a cozy movie marathon on the couch. She’s still learning the ropes of leash life, though. In her opinion, the leash is totally unnecessary because, duh, she’d follow you anywhere! But for now, she’s getting the hang of it. She rides great in the car too, once she’s been politely informed that she cannot ride shotgun. After some gentle persuasion (and maybe a treat or two), she settles in the backseat like a pro.

This little social butterfly absolutely loves meeting new people and making friends. She’s great with other dogs, so if you’ve got a resident pooch who loves to play, Pink will fit right in. She wouldn’t mind having a buddy to hang with while you’re out, but if you’re around a lot or lead an active life, she’s happy being the center of your world. She’s even cool with cats and thinks kids are just the best thing since belly rubs.

Pinkie Pie is flexible in her housing preferences too! Apartment life? Sure thing! A big backyard to zoom around in? Yes, please! Potty training is still a work in progress, but she’s already kennel trained. Of course, with great cuteness comes great mischievousness. Pinkie is still a puppy, after all, so she might just mistake your favorite shoes or that fluffy pillow for a chew toy. But don't worry, she’s learning fast, and as long as you’ve got plenty of her favorite toys handy, she’ll try her best to stick to nibbling on those. Speaking of which, she loves her toys! She’s all about that No-Toy-Left-Behind life and will joyfully splash around in the water with you if given the chance.

Prepare yourself for an overload of “awws” and “oh my gosh, she’s so cute!” moments when you catch Pinkie Pie snuggling with her blanket or trying to carry around stuffed toys that are bigger than she is. If you’re searching for a playful, snuggly, and irresistibly cute addition to your family, look no further—Pinkie Pie is ready to steal your heart!
