10/31 from foster parent: This DOG is one of the Best dogs! She is already house broken and know her basic commands (sit, lay down, off, and walking on lead), She will not get on the furniture even when I try to get her to. And, oh my....What a Sweetheart !!! I don't know if she came in with the name Tamara but she only answers to Sweety, and I'm very ok with that lol. She has not left my size and wants to be near people. Her nerves have settled so quickly after getting her, I was very impressed.
Her health is doing better than expected after the spay. She has put on a small bit of weight already, but she doesn't over eat even if the food is left down. She is up and running around the backyard playing with our other pets. She is very Dog and cat friendly. All in all I'm amazed that she left on the streets and her owners were not out looking for this baby. She is a perfect pet so far.
On 10/9/24 Tamara attended playgroup. She was friendly and social with people and tolerated other dogs well. She wasn't interested in play, but observed from the sidelines.
On 9/25/24 Tamara met a male dog. She was friendly, social, but not so playful. She was very tolerant of the male because he did become hormone driven, but she gave appropriate corrections. She loved to be pet on and stayed close to the handlers.
