MEET SWEET FREYA.... Freya was rescued from a crowded California shelter in the nick of time. While there, she was kenneled with another dog, and was calm and gentle. Freya is a beautiful black-brindle shy girl but will blossom with the right person or people who can show her love and affection. She is a shepherd mix but could have some Belgian Malinois in her as well. She's only a baby - maybe 1-2 years old - and needs a foster or forever home. She weighs about 55-60 lbs. Freedom Ride Rescue Inc. is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue organization that saves hundreds of dogs and cats annually. We are an all-breed rescue, and do not shy away from tough cases. We believe all animals deserve a chance at a happy life, and we do our best to match people with their new pets. Every time a dog is adopted, it makes room for another needy dog, most often in an overcrowded shelter.

We adopt dogs/cats to people on the West Coast but also to other states as well, as we believe that animal lovers are everywhere! Please consider adopting one of our wonderful dogs or cats.
