Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Bucky is a white Husky and Pitbull mix who will be 3 years old in January. He is very mellow and knows to sit, stay, wait, down, tall, spin, shake, and speak by verbal or hand commands. He is house-trained and is fine to stay at home for long periods of time. He is great with our cat and children. He is comfortable being brushed (he sheds!) and getting his nails filed. indifferent to teeth brushing. He is leash trained especially if you use treats. He is nervous around new dogs but he goes to daycare and the dog park regularly so once he gets comfortable he loves to run and play. He likes to chase birds and squirrels. He loves cuddles, hugs, and kisses and can be pushy with his affection!
Bucky would do best with another dog. He grew up with a brother named Cap (the back dog in the pictures) who can be adopted with Bucky. Bucky can be anxious sometimes, and having siblings as support will help keep him happy! He's a very sweet boy who would add a lot of love to your life!
