My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dobby! Dobby is about 5 years old, 54 lbs, and she is a mixed breed pup! Dobby was found as a stray in pretty pitiful condition, but has been nursed back to health. In her foster home, she has been doing great with her house training, crate training and leash walking. She could join homes with other dogs and kids, but no cats, please!

Her foster says, "Dobby is probably one of the most sweetest loving dogs I have ever had in my home without being a velcro dog! This girl wants nothing but to make her humans happy and get playtime in. She is fantastic with the other dogs. She knows who plays, and who does not. In the time, she has been here she has learned how to play with the other dogs and will even sometimes pick up a toy. When she first came she didn't even know how to play! She is very smart. She is past the puppy naughty stages. She is potty trained. Even if she is kenneled she will let you know she needs out potty! She has no problem sleeping on the floor/couch/dog bed or even in her kennel at night. She does like having her kennel to go lay in when she wants. She is kennel trained and has no issues at all in the kennel. She loves little humans as much as regular sized ones! She has been good around the small humans I have had here. She is not pushy with them and doesn't jump on them at all. Dobby has fantastic house manners. She knows basic commands and could be easily taught new things."

She is available for adoption by appointment in North Dartmouth with an approved adopter. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.
