My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pena is full of love and is eager to have some fun in a foster home while they recover from some skin issues.

Reason for Foster: Suspected pyoderma; Awaiting results to rule out ringworm

Foster Time Frame: 2 weeks

Foster Care Plan: Pena is currently undergoing treatment for skin issues. We are awaiting lab results to determine if there is ringworm present. There is a possibility that they are contagious to other animals, so we strongly recommend keeping them separated in a bedroom or bathroom away from your personal pets until they have fully recovered. They will go home with medication and we will provide supplies and a medical consultation at pickup so you are fully prepared to care for this sweetie.

I am available through our Foster to Adopt program. This program helps pets awaiting or under medical treatment be placed in with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption. If interested in fostering through our Foster to Adopt program, sign up to be a foster online and express your interest in Pena. We can schedule a pick up and meet and greet appointment. https://www.operationkindness.org/foster/
