Mr. Biscuits is a long-haired, golden tabby, with perhaps just a hint of Somali in him. He is so good-looking and very affectionate. In fact, he came upon his name because, as he was being checked out by the vet, he was purring and making biscuits with his large paws on the examining table. The vet techs immediately fell in love with this big handsome boy and called him Mr. Biscuits upon the spot!
For some unknown reasons, Mr. Biscuit was found wandering among a colony of community cats. Rescuers who came to feed the cats were amazed when a big, hairy fellow came rushing up and started to rub himself along their legs, purring loudly. It appears the big guy was thrilled to be among two -legged companions again, which makes us believe he might have been dumped outside by an uncaring owner. Knowing that Mr. Biscuits would not last long outdoors in the Texas summer heat in his heavy fur coat, rescuers brought him into foster care.
Mr. Biscuits is well -behaved in every way. He definitely has a preference to being with humans and prefers to be a couch potato, as evidenced by his tendencies to lounge around sedately. We believe this hairy fellow would be an amazing companion to a home where he can rule supreme. Due to his long-haired coat, Mr. Biscuit needs a human companion who loves to brush his coat into luxurious state. Our preference is that he goes to a home where he is not left alone for long periods and to owners who are well-versed in the needs of a long-haired exotic cat. Frequent brushings are necessary to Mr. Biscuit's thick, double coat and to maintain his show cat good looks. We are looking for a quiet home for this amazingly sweet kitty cat.

Please note the following: We always do vet reference checks and we WILL NOT adopt kittens or cats into household where the residential pets are unvaccinated. This is to ensure the safety of BOTH our kitten/cat and your current pets. We try to adopt locally and will reserve the right to deny Meet and Greet as our volunteers cannot do any home visits if the distance is too great.

More about this rescue
Our Mission Statement:
To match every cat or kitten within our foster program with a permanent, loving family.
We are a small network of rescue volunteers based in the DFW area who are banding together to foster and adopt out rescued cats and kittens!
Our cats and kittens come to us under a variety of conditions: Some of our cats were rescued from hoarding situations or surrendered by their owners, while others were found by good Samaritans after being dumped and abandoned. Some of our mother cats were tossed out, pregnant and malnourished, because their owners never spayed them and did not want litters of kittens in their homes. Our luckiest kittens were born inside our fosters' homes and have known nothing but love and affection from humans. Each of our cats and kittens has been through a big journey and has a unique story to tell.
We all work towards a common goal of finding these sweet, loving cats a wonderful forever home where they will be cherished and pampered for the rest of their lives.
