My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nala, a gentle soul with a heart full of love. Despite her shy demeanor, she exudes an aura of warmth that`s hard to ignore. She`s friendly, often wagging her tail at anyone who passes by her kennel, her soft eyes full of hope. Nala is sweet, too, showing her affection by nuzzling into your hand when you reach out to her. She may take a little time to come out of her shell, but once she does, she will shower you with unconditional love. Nala`s gentle and loving nature makes her a perfect addition to any home. Her ability to love and be loved is an attribute that shines through her shy exterior. Nala deserves a home that will cherish her, a place where she can continue to grow and flourish. If you`re looking for a loyal companion who will fill your life with sweetness and love, Nala is the one for you.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
