Peanut’s journey began on the bustling streets of New York City, where she was in search of love and kindness. This 6-year-old girl was determined to find a family of her own. When she arrived at the Animal Farm Foundation, Peanut immediately showed everyone her superpower: a heart full of love and an endless need for snuggles.
Peanut is the ultimate cuddle companion. Each night, she finds her way to your side, ready to curl up for a cozy evening in. But don’t let her love of quiet nights fool you—Peanut is also an adventurer! She adores her walks, taking her time to sniff every flower and savor each new scent. Walking with Peanut is like sharing a little adventure, where every step is a reminder of her gentle spirit and joy in life’s simple pleasures.
She’s playful too, lighting up when you pull out her favorite toys. And while Peanut may be small, she has made a few doggie friends friends here at the shelter.
If you’re ready for a friend who will bring comfort, joy, and unconditional love into your life, come meet Peanut. She’s already saved a spot in her heart for you! 🐶❤️

More about this rescue
Animal Farm Foundation gets to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
Located in Dutchess County NY, AFF has been working nationally to secure equal treatment and opportunity for “pit bull” dogs since 1985.
OUR ORGANIZATION
Animal Farm Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation, has been rescuing and re-homing animals, as well as making grants to other humane organizations, since the mid-1980's.
We currently dedicate our resources to securing equal treatment and opportunity for "pit bull" dogs. Whether the dog is called a "pit bull" because of a documented pedigree, or merely on the basis of physical appearance, recognizing that these dogs are individuals for whom we are responsible is an integral step toward a compassionate future for all dogs.
