Meet Maverick, a joyful 6-year-old Boxer with a heart full of love and a zest for life! This sweet guy is happiest when he's with his people and loves having company, whether that's hanging out with his human family or playing with other dogs. Maverick is mostly house-trained and walks nicely on a harness, making him an enjoyable companion for walks and outdoor adventures.

While he's friendly and easygoing with dogs, Maverick is a bit timid around strangers and may need a little time to warm up to new faces. We aren't sure how he would do with cats, so a slow introduction would be important if you have feline friends.

Maverick is looking for a calm and loving home where he can enjoy his golden years surrounded by care and affection. Can you offer this happy soul the retirement home he deserves?

Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year.
