Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Carol: Your Sweet and Spirited Companion!
Hi, my name is Carol! I’m a 9- to 10-week-old Lab/Beagle mix, originally from Arkansas, and I came to safety with my mom and four siblings when I was just 1 week old. Now, at about 9 pounds, I’m growing fast and showing off my independent and energetic personality!
I’m always on the move, playing with my siblings and foster family, but don’t worry—I have a soft spot for shoulder snuggles and will happily stay still when you want to hold me close. I love humans and adore being held. I’m a friendly, sweet girl who gets along well with other pets too!
I’m already crate-trained and working on potty training. And just so you know, I’ve mastered the art of getting your attention—I’ll cry at your feet until you pick me up and tell me how cute I am!
If you’re looking for a playful yet cuddly companion, I’m your girl. I can’t wait to find my forever home where I can share all my love and energy!
Illinois law requires that all of our dogs and puppies be spay/neutered within 14 days of a veterinarian deeming the dog or puppy is ready to be altered. In order to fully comply with this regulation and reduce the number of homeless dogs and puppies, we do not permit out of state adoptions of unaltered dogs or puppies.
Our standard adoption fee is $375 cash or check and $385 credit card ($10 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping.
We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Applications will not be reviewed unless fully completed. An application does not commit you to adopting and does not guarantee adoption but does allow us to begin the review process.
Please email adopt@safehavendogsIL.org for an application or additional details.
Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed.
Safe Haven Dog Rescue reserves the right to refuse adoption of any dog or puppy to any applicant (adopter) for any reason.
