Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Shadow is a loving and outgoing girl just hoping to find her family to totally adore. She loves attention, is very engaged with, and loves all humans. She would be good in just about any kind of home, from apartment living to having plenty of room to run. She is good on a leash, loves walks, and goes wherever she can with her humans, vehicle, or on foot.
She has good house manners and will ask to go out or can use a doggie door. She is crate trained but does not need to be crated to be a good girl in her home except, and this is the only bad habit we have found she has, she is a counter surfer and food thief. Never leave your meal unguarded when she’s out. Her foster mom has been reminded a few times. Because Shadow will steal food every chance she gets, we are avoiding a home with toddlers or young children who might carry food around with them. While Shadow does not jump up on people and would never hurt a child deliberately, food is just too big a temptation for her.
Shadow lives with lots of other dogs, of all sizes and ages and gets along with everyone, even the hyper little girl who is intent on jumping all over her. She has not been cat tested.
She is fully vetted, microchipped, spayed, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
If you are looking for the near-perfect girl to add to your family Shadow could be the girl for you.

More about this rescue
Hillcrest Animal Rescue is a 501c3, non-profit organization dedicated to saving as many homeless, neglected and abused animals as our resources allow. All of our rescues are placed in loving foster homes and receive thorough medical care. Each companion animal is heartworm tested and treated if positive; placed on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention; altered and micro chipped. Every animal receives a full complement of vaccines depending on risk and immune status. Chronic pain is not acceptable with animals in our care. We will take whatever measures are necessary to ensure that all of our animals are living free of pain and disease. To summarize our belief in veterinary care, any animal at Hillcrest Rescue receives the same level of veterinary care as if she or he were the only animal we have.
