If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We have named him Benson. He was found by a friend of mine living under his RV while out of town working. He was brought to me to give him a place to stay as Benson was very timid so he may have been abused at some point. He is such a snuggle bug and extremely loving but also very jealous. He does not seem to be food aggressive. Catches treats, sits, loves to sleep or lay next to his human. He does seem to have some separation anxiety so he may be better with a dog more his size to play with or someone that is home more often. I have 2 small dogs and he gets along with them but if I walk up to the bed to love them, he pushes them out of the way to get the attention in which he has pushed my dachshund off the bed. She is an older dog so I can not have that but he doesn’t realize his size, he just wants to be the one getting all of the love. Per the vet, he is approximately 6-7 months old, about 38 pounds, beautiful eyes, healthy and a loving personality. You will fall in love!
