Hey there, I`m Shimmer, and just like my name suggests, I’m a little ray of sunshine ready to light up your life! I’m 5 years old, 27 pounds, and I’ve got a heart as sparkling as a star. I may be petite, but what I lack in size I definitely make up for in personality and charm. I’m a food-motivated girl (let`s be real—who isn`t?) so if you’ve got treats, I’m all in! I know a few basic commands like `sit` and `down,` and let me tell you, when there’s a snack involved, I’ll do anything to earn it. I’m very gentle when taking treats—no food aggression here! I’ll take them from your hand like the polite lady I am, and maybe even give you a little “thank you” look while I enjoy every bite. I’m also a fan of the simple joys in life—like having you sit next to me while I let you scratch my head. There`s nothing like a good head scratch, right? It’s my version of a spa day, and I’ll happily settle in next to you, soaking in all the love and affection. I’m sweet, calm, and always ready to share a moment of peaceful companionship. If you`re looking for a dog who’s friendly, gentle, and all about the snuggles (especially the head scratches), then we’re going to get along great!

We have many wonderful pets waiting to be yours! Adoption fees are $85 for dogs and $65 for cats (Dogs over 5 years old, $40). The adoption fee to persons over 55 years old is $40. Adoptions includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, heartworm test, fecal test, and Feline Leukemia/FIV test for cats.
