My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Darby is a silly and friendly German Shepherd mix pup of 11 months. She was pulled from a high kill shelter where she was on the euthanasia list. She is presently in foster care where she is enjoying routine and freedom.

As you can see in the photos, Darby is exceptionally sweet natured and calm for a young dog. She has a maternal instinct toward puppies that are not her own and loves to lounge around with people. Darby is very social and loves playing with other dogs and is also cat friendly! She is a very "go with the flow" puppy. She will do best if she has another doggie companion but a human companion will do!

Darby is housebroken, quiet, self entertaining, and crate trained. She is low shed. Darby will be on the smaller side - she currently weighs 45lbs and is nearly full grown. She is up to date on all her vaccines.

Additional adoption info

We do our best to place animals in proper forever homes.We require all information be completed on the application.We prefer email to phone calls. An application and a short interview is required to make sure that the new dog will be a good addition to the adopter's family. An adoption fee is also required. We do not except payment plans.We thoroughly review each application for each dog in our rescue. We interview the candidates and perform a home check (sometimes via zoom).
Please note we are all volunteers so it may be up to 72 hrs for us to get back to you. We unfortunately do not have a facility for one to view. We do not allow meetings prior to an approved application on file.

More about this rescue

We are a small rescue group helping any animal we can farm animals are housed and adopted if applicable. Stray dogs are vetted, temperament tested, and placed in an appropriate home. Dogs from the city and county shelters are rescued, socialized, trained, fostered, and we have extensive experience dealing with dogs who have behavioral issues, and every dog has been placed in loving home.
