My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Lady Bird! I was impounded by the city after people let me down, and am looking for a new place to call home. I'm the sweetest, most spunky pup, loving nothing more than to bask in the sun, play with plush toys, and cuddle in your lap! Though I'm quite affectionate, I would prefer to be the queen of my own house and be a solo dog due to my past. You might be wondering about my wheelchair - well my shelter friends determined I have an upper neuron deficit which causes non-painful ataxia. In other words, I have troubles using my back legs so I need a little extra help. I'm looking for a home that can provide me plenty of support (both physically and mentally) as I re-adjust to the world, bond with the humans, and eat more snacks than you thought could fit in my tiny body. If you are looking for a loving gal with a big personality, come visit me today and find out how to be the owner I have always deserved!
