My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Professor socks was born in March 2021 he’s 3 years old he is incredibly social and likes to play with dogs. Because he has FIV, he hasn’t been raised with other cats but feel free to properly introduce him to kittens. He’s very loving in his own way he loves to sleep under the covers and likes being held his personality is like a sour patch kid so he gets overstimulated very quickly so he will bite you as a way of saying stop He is obsessed with lasers! He is a large cat compare to others. I would want him to find a home where his sour patch kid personality and boundaries are respected and understood (:
An FIV infected cat can spread the virus to other CATS ONLY through hard bites where the saliva enters the bloodstream of the other cat, but FIV cats can also live along side non FIV cats without issue if the cats get along. You may want to call your vet to discuss any concerns you may have about FIV or google more information but they can live long healthy lives.
