Connor is fostered in Coldwater, MI

This handsome little cutie is Connor. He is a 3-month-old male Australian Shepherd & Sheltie mix. He currently weighs about 12 pounds and is his foster mom reports him to be the best puppy she's ever fostered!

Connor and his sibling come into rescue, being the last of the litter. Connor is young, but he has already mastered potty training and crate training. He is a puppy, so he will need to remain on a consistent schedule with this to continue his success. He is also learning basic commands and is very eager to please.

Connie is in a home with other dogs and does fantastic. He is happy to be your work buddy - whether that's working out or working at home during the day. He will need an adopter who is active and willing to devote 1 - 2 hours of mental and physical stimulation per day, as needed by this breed.

Connor is microchipped, up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccinations and receiving monthly prevention for fleas, ticks and heartworms. Proof of heartworms for any current or prior pets is requried to adopt from our rescue. He will also be adopted on a spay/neuter fee as we do recommend that procedure being done between 6 - 8 months of age.

NOTE: All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers so we need an approved application on file to set up a meet with a dog you might have an interest in. Meeting any dog within MASR requires an approved adoption application on file. We process as quickly as possible via volunteers. Then connect an applicant one at a time with a dog and foster home to arrange a meet and greet. If all parties at the meet and greet, including the dog, are in agreement that it is a good fit, the dog goes home that day.
