My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Luigi is approximately two years old and 45lbs of softness. He’s a very sweet boy with a gorgeous floofy coat and mesmerizing eyes. Luigi is gentle and treat-motivated. He likes to be around his human friends, but can be a shy around new people. He lights up around other dogs and loves to play with his foster sister and other well-matched dogs. He would love to find a more mature sibling to help show him how to dog in his forever home. Like a typical husky, he doesn’t hesitate to vocalize his opinions but he knows how to use an indoor voice. He is also house trained, crate trained and walks nicely on leash.

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers and rescuers combining our skills to help fosters get a dog out of the shelter! The dogs in our program have begun house, crate, and leash training. Our fosters follow a handful of house rules. The transition to a new home is easiest for your dog when these structures are carried over for some time and privileges are gradually introduced. This helps minimize anxiety and behavioral issues.
