Meet Claudia de Lioncourt! Claudia is a playful, energetic polydactyl cat with a lot of love to give and things to say! She loves to play with a variety of toys, but her favourite ones are wand toys and a laser pointer to chase after, showing off her true huntress nature. When it`s time to wind down though, Claudia likes to hang out in bed with you, where she will purr up a storm and cover you in kisses and playful nips. She can sometimes take a while to warm up to people, but is a quick learner and looking for a home where she can be the main star of attention. She would likely do best in a home where she`s the only cat, but if a cat can match her energy levels, she might do well with proper introductions, but can be pretty possessive over her people! She is also incredibly food motivated, and loves her diet of a mix of wet and dry food, as well as raw food every once in a while as a treat.

All adoptions begin with an adoption application, available here or on our website (or from one of our wonderful volunteers in person). The application is reviewed by the adoptable animal's foster home as well as by the appropriate coordinator (canine/feline) to assess how the animal will fit in your home. We endeavour to respond to all applications within 72 hours, but being 100% run by volunteers sometimes we need additional time--if you haven't heard back after 72 hours, feel free to contact us to check in on your application.
Canine Adoption Fees:
$450 for puppies under 1 year of age
$375 for dogs over 1 year & under 7 years
$300 for dogs 7 years and older
Feline Adoption Fees:
$250 for kittens and cats up to 12 months old
$200 for cats between 1-6 years old
$150 for cats 6 years old and older
Adoption fees help offset the cost to our organization of providing full medical care (including spay or neuter surgery) to each animal we adopt to a furever home.
