My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Josie & Francine
Age: Born June 2024
Breed: DSH, Gray Tabby (Francine) DMH Gray Tabby (Josie)
Gender: Female
Hi there! We’re Josie and Francine, the most playful, cuddly, and curious little kittens you’ll ever meet! We’re a bonded pair and absolutely inseparable, so we’re looking for a forever home together. We love being around humans and can’t stand closed doors—we’ll cry until you come back to us! Our favorite place to be is wherever you are, and we’ll even keep you company in the bathroom to make sure you’re safe.

I, Josie, have the fluffier coat and a slightly shy personality. Sudden noises and movements might startle me, but once I warm up, I’m all about the pets and cuddles. I especially love brushing sessions, and my purring will tell you just how happy I am! My sister Francine is a bit bolder and more daring. She’s super affectionate and loves to snuggle up with you. We both have excellent litter manners and love using cardboard and horizontal scratching posts.

We adore playing with all sorts of toys—whether it’s worms, balls, fishing rods, or lasers, we’ll keep you entertained for hours. Boxes with holes are also one of our favorite playgrounds!

One thing we don’t like? Being apart from each other or our humans. We need a family who can give us lots of attention and love. If you’re looking for double the fun, double the love, and two little protectors to follow you everywhere, we’re your girls!

Hope to meet you soon!
—Josie & Francine

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
